Granada is the Spanish Word for Pomegranate. The double name reflects how wonderful little silver plated filigree and red crystal pin is. I found this beauty while wandering the streets outside the Alhambra in Granada, Spain.

The Pomegranate is the Heraldic Symbol of the city and is immortalized on street signs, sewer covers, fire hydrants and fence posts. In many cultures the luscious red seeded fruit is associated with abundance, fertility, good luck, prosperity and ambition.
